Ranger-led swamp walks benefiting the Big Cypress National Preserve! Every Halloween Weekend at our Big Cypress Gallery, we open our backyard up to the public for Ranger-led Swamp Walks Tours. These tours leave every hour on the hour from 9am-2pm. The tours are led by the Big Cypress National Preserve Rangers and all the proceeds from the walks will be donated to their Educational Department. Cost is $50pp and children are free with paid adults. No refunds, all money will be donated. He is dedicating this exhibit and his new book to the courageous individuals who stood up to proclaim the need to save our wild places and to the forward-thinking ones who created the National Parks “for the benefit and enjoyment of the people”. In celebrating our 100th anniversary of the parks our local Big Cypress National Preserve Rangers will be at the Gallery to answer any questions about our local National Parks.
